5 Tips for creating a great space

Meditating

So this is a flashback to last spring, when we were clearly feeling the same way we do this year: It’s time to create the perfect space. Here are 5 tips from Editrix Jenni; there are lots more in the Fab Five sites below. So tell us, how do you create a healthy space? We’re chatting about it at the Forum.

What's on our plate?

Smile :)

Winter. Blah. We’re working hard to keep the positive energy flowing but it’s tough. Regular Goodie Bag readers know that Editrix Jenni recently had a major flare-up and had to take a little time off. She’s feeling better now, and it’s due in part to all your well wishes! Still, we’re working to keep the good feeling going. How do you stay cheery in winter?

Did you know?

February is all about the heart, and not just on Valentine’s Day. The American Heart Association does incredibly valuable work on heart disease, and offers seven simple steps to having better heart health.

What we're up to lately...

Breaking out our warmest sweaters...lots of journaling...discovering music by Spoon (their new album, Transference , is faboo!)...trying to eat more fruit...sheepishly catching up on tons and tons of emails...squeezing in exercise wherever possible...exploring different aspects of spirituality (in a book group, no less!)...eating insane hamburgers...and sending huge love to all of you!

There are little changes you can make in your space to improve sleep (and maybe ease some of your symptoms!). The National Sleep Foundation has tips for you.

Editrix Jenni found some adorable hooks, storage containers and hanging hardware at this site, and they always have great stuff on sale. Sign up for their newsletter to get alerts about specials.

Get Humid
We are so DRY. At ChronicBabe HQ, we’re experimenting with ways to keep our bods moisturized and this terrific Vicks germ-free humidifier is really doing the trick.

Shana Logic
Cute clothes, accessories and goodies for your home. Our favorites include the pin-up girl hand towels; need we say more?
