Dear fellow ChronicBabes,

I’m not perfect. Heck, no one is. But sometimes I feel the pressure to do more than I’m capable of. For instance, today you’re expecting a fresh Goodie Bag from me, packed with tons of links and helpful tips. But Babes: I can’t do it. I’m just too exhausted, in the midst of a huge flare-up. (For the newbies: I have fibromyalgia, which is well-managed but sometimes still has a mind of its own.)

So am I going to beat myself up over the fact that I can’t give everything I promised? Nope. Am I going to push myself beyond my healthy limits and exhaust myself further with hours of work? Nope. Am I going to write you a heartfelt note about what’s going on and hope that you’ll not only understand, but that you’ll relate and maybe learn something? Yup!

For the next few days, I’ll be taking extra-good care of myself, resting, reading, eating healthy, drinking lots of H2O and spending phone time with supportive friends. I’m curious: What do you do when you’re feeling your worst? Let’s chat about it over at the forum. Your stories and wishes will help me and all the other ChronicBabes who need to hear some inspiring words and well wishes. And we can all teach each other a thing or two about taking good care of ourselves.

And as always, you can send me personal wishes, too. I love hearing from you, Babes!

Much peace and love,

Jenni
